Believing in, and pushing the teachings of, evolution leads to death

Adolf Hitler quote in Green Bay Southwest yearbook causes controversy
It's Easier to Fool People… | Mark twain quotes, Mark twain, Great quotes

The lie is; evolution is real and there is no God.

Believe your bible.

Evolution is a heresy and should never be condoned by the pulpit. It is what is behind abortions, Hitler and his gang of thugs burning Europe and ultimately bringing the world genocide and WWII.

Soon, we will be commemorating the 20th anniversary of 911. Twenty years, can you believe it’s been that long?

The same rally cry, ‘never again!’, which echoed around the world after WWII and in America after 911 seems to have been forgotten. We can’t even have political discussions without them deteriorating into fist fights and in some tragic cases, even death. Heck, vegans can’t even declare their beliefs without extreme vitriol and hate to the point of making death threats. Where is our sense of loyalty and community to one another simply because we call ourselves, American? Standing shoulder to shoulder against our enemies is a thing of the past. There is so much death and infighting we are eating ourselves.

What does ouroboros mean? The ouroboros is an ancient symbol of a snake or serpent eating its own tail, variously signifying infinity and the cycle of birth and death.

What an odd definition. A snake, or anything else for that matter, eating itself ultimately destroys itself. Only Christ was resurrected. Only the Christian Trinity is infinite. See how the lies look cool but ultimately lead to death?

Watch The extraordinary moment a snake eats its OWN TAIL after mistaking it for a rival predator | Daily Mail Online
This poor thing is never going to live again. It mistook itself for food, or an enemy, and devoured itself.

This poor thing is never going to live again. There is no infinity in it. It mistook itself for food, or an enemy, and devoured itself. This is where America is right now. We are standing on the edge of a knife. We are either going to go too far in the direction of death and become Russia during its darkest times of killing its own people and almost, ultimately, itself as a nation, or we are going to straighten up, tighten our ‘mercy belts’ and stop attacking each other when we do not see eye-to-eye.

Micah 7:6
For a son dishonors his father, a daughter rises against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. A man’s enemies are the members of his own household.

Matthew 10:21
Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rise against their parents and have them put to death.

Matthew 10:35
For I have come to turn ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.

Luke 12:52
From now on, five in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three.

This is all coming about because the war really is virtue against barbarism. It is not virtuous to kill unborn children simply because they ‘got in the way’ of your life. It is not virtuous to threaten, or attack, people who eat meat. It is not virtuous to say you want to attack ‘the patriarchy’ because you hate men. it’s not ok to hate men. It’s not ok to hate anyone.

It is hard to be patient with people who are attacking you. It is hard to pray for your enemies. Mercy is hard. That's why Jesus told us to be merciful.

James 2:13 For judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy … because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment. There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others

Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. God blesses those who are merciful, for they will be shown mercy. “Blessed are the merciful, for they

Romans 9:15 For He says to Moses: “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have … For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” For God said to Moses

Luke 6:36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate. Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful. Be merciful

Think about it, why was Jesus hated so much? No other deity in the history of the world has be vilified and hated as much as Christ. He taught; peace, mercy, love, going the extra mile (literally and figuratively). other religions teach similar things but no one swears in the name of pagan gods. No one burns pagan symbols, attacks Norse creation myths, or does any of the hateful things people do do Christian symbols.

‘To the barbarian, virtue is a blemish.’-(I heard Rabbi Lapin say this but I think he was quoting someone else. I can’t remember who.)

Christ is hated because He taught unprecedented levels of virtue. He taught that life is sacred. Although he did not abolish the law, he took the law to a new level. There was to be no more manipulation of the law (but it still happens in churches everywhere).

I urge you to leave your church if they; support abortion, gay marriage, your pastor is divorced and remarried, they do not believe the eucharist IS the body and blood of Christ, they teach evolution in any form over or in conjunction with creation, they push tithing while members of your congregation are starving and losing their homes while your pastor lives in a mcmansion, they promote ‘if you’re good enough’ no harm will ever come to you (that’s legalism folks), basically, if your church boasts that it is ‘progressive’ it’s not a proper Christian church. What they are really doing is promoting the views, and values of the world.

This book is an excellent resource for understanding what the world was like when Christ came into it, and what people were into that was so unacceptable, Hint: pretty much everything that has become acceptable to progressive ‘christianity’ is just a rehash of what Christ taught against during His ministry.

When the Church Was Young: Voices of the Early Fathers by [Marcellino D'Ambrosio]

Scripture tells us, ‘God never changes’. So why all of the changes to Christianity? Why are there hundreds of thousands of denominations? Each denomination convinced it is the only way to be Christian and yet it looks almost nothing like the early church?

Find, and read, books that support creation over evolution. read them to your children. Teach them God is sovereign, not science. Teach them that all human life is sacred.

Bloggy update

I took this pic Sunday morning after spending a rough, storm filled night with, Zora. I truely thought her little heart was going to burst she was panting and shaking so hard. Poor thing. Let me go back to Tuesday…

The Knee Incident: I have a habit of not sitting down in bed bottom first, but rather putting my left knee down first then sitting down. I know this is not good for my knee but I thought I was not putting enough pressure on it to make it act up; I was wrong. It began to slowly ‘be affected’. On Tuesday, I was trying to find something to wear to go for a walk. I turned and stepped wrong. Sharp pain. Stiffness. Heaviness, and I have been hobbling around on it ever since. Thankfully, Zora is not a high maintenance dog. I was able to sit in a recliner with my knee on a pillow for most of the time I was at my sister’s house. I also taped my knee with KT tape which ended up ‘burning’ my skin, causing blood blisters and a rash. Delightful. I will be doing some red light therapy on my knee today to speed up the healing process.

Watching Zora! Zora is my 23 year old nephews kelpie dog. No she cannot turn into a sea creature. She is not THAT kind of kelpie. In fact, despite having webbing between her toes, this dog hates water. I was hanging out with her, and house sitting because she, the rest of her family plus my dad, was in Willow Springs watching my nephew, Colt Nixon 735 race! Follow him on Insta: @coltnixon735

Herbs: I have also been experimenting with herbal tinctures. My next attempt will be a spruce tincture. I saw a spruce tree on my walk yesterday. The buds are still too small to harvest. We live at a higher elevation and spring is slow to arrive. I did see some very large dandelion plants on my walk with leaves that were 6-8 inches in length. Some were almost a foot long. Suburbia does not usually allow plants they consider to be weeds to grow so large. Speaking of weeds, most of my backyard has been taken over by something. I’m not sure what it is. We stopped watering years ago in an effort to spare us from that expense. We think watering grass is kind of silly. Of course our lawn died. Nature abhors a vacuum, therefore something else, something hardier than grass, has replaced our lawn. I have drawn out plans for the backyard. Things I would like to see done; a chapel, a Mary garden where all of the flowers are white, a patch of herbs, a patch of berries, and a vegetable garden. Perhaps we could extend the patio a bit? Maybe put in a gas fire pit and some seating? May it be so.

How are all of you? It seems that while in lockdown, many people forgot how to be human. People barely holding on before the pandemic have seemingly completely reduced themselves to the worst version of themselves.

Violence and bad behavior are choices. choices no one needs to make. Just because it is YOUR [et thing to hate does not make it ok to hate or to become violent. I bring this up because of something I read on Instagram someone had posted. They ended their little ditty with, ‘and punch a man’. I called her out on it but my protests fell on deaf ears. She justified it because she was talking about attacking the ‘patriarchy’. No. Violence is never ok just because it’s your pet hate does not make it acceptable. I don’t care if you are a radical feminist, BLM, Antifa or whatever label you have adopted to make yourself feel good about bad behavior… stop it. Stop being part of the problem.

Here’s to the healers

Here’s to the healers who, like the myrrh bearing women of the bible, risk so much, and give so much of themselves for the benefit of others.

Here’s to the healers who study endlessly. Who learn the healing properties of plants. Who see the detriment of excessive use of modern pharmaceuticals and offer options for those who are willing. To those who worked hard to keep their families, friends, and other loved ones, out of hospitals… especially during the pandemic. Here’s to the foragers, the keepers of the hearth & home and those who use themselves as test subjects before offering the remedy to others. Here’s to those who wait patiently for the weeks it takes to make a tincture or infusion. Here is to the tea blenders, to those who study crystals and other alternative means of healing. To those who believe in miracles and desire to create them.

Here’s to those who know meat heals. Who go for walks in the woods and bring home pockets full of miracles. Here’s to those grinding herbs in their kitchens making poultices, salves and ointments.

Here’s to those of you who looked for the best path for you and walk it… willing to share your knowledge with those who will listen.

To you, the invisible care givers and healers, I raise a glass of fizzy drink to you.

Lilac tincture

I’m an herbalist… it’s what I do. (Photo credit? It’s mine. I took it. yes I did.)

Lilac blossoms of course.

3 parts vodka

1 part vegetable glycerin

Fill a jar well with the blossoms but do not crush the blossoms or overcrowd. Pack them in up to the top of the jar then pour the vodka and vegetable glycerine over the top. Label it:

Lilac tincture

date it was made:

date it will be ready:

Mine will be finished on July 7th. Lilac is good for; parasites (vermifuge- they stun parasites), it is antiperiodic which means it helps to prevent disease. It is also restorative. Lilac helps to prevent relapses after a patient has healed, it is an antifungal- it purges the body of fungi and lowers the risk of fungal infections, helps to reduce fever, helps to ease anxiety, it’s good for your skin (helps heal burns, reduce wrinkles from sun damage and aging, etc.), antibacterial.

If you look around where you live, you just might discover a medicine chest in your own neighborhood or backyard. Lilac does not grow wild in America. It is native to Europe. If you do not have any bushes, ask your neighbor if you can cut some of their blossoms off in exchange fore some tincture. You do not need many blossoms to make your tincture. This is the bowl I used to harvest the blossoms. I still have some unprocessed blossoms left.

This is a small Pampered Chef bowl that’s about 16.5 years old.

Be sure to harvest your lilacs in the morning when it is still cool and they are a bit dewy (but it’s ok if they are dew free) you want to be sure they are full of their oils. This is best in the morning. You want full, open blossoms. Store them in an air tight jar for 6-8 weeks if using 100 proof vodka or 8-12 weeks if using 80 proof vodka. When finished, transfer liquid to a bottle with an eyedropper if desired for easier administration.

Bible verses supporting the use of herbs.

Revelation 22:2, KJV: “In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”

You do not need to wait until you get to heaven or the apocalypse happens to experience the healing power of plants.

Ezekiel 47:12 ESV

And on the banks, on both sides of the river, there will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither, nor their fruit fail, but they will bear fresh fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for healing.”

The honey trap, Thanksgiving dinner, and other natural disasters

hao qin@singlepinkc on Unsplash

There you are at Thanksgiving, surrounded by your loving family. Everyone is dressed, clean, thankful and on the same page politically and religiously… and then your alarm clock goes off waking you from your dream.

Why am I writing about Thanksgiving nightmares in May? Well for one reason, the year is zipping by at an alarming rate and it feels as if T-day is next month and for another reason, well let’s start a new paragraph for that one.

Since April I have been embarking on a personal study that has been partly responsible for my lack of being able to get other things done which is why I still have not done anything formally with the Elder Thaddeus study. Oh I’m reading it alright but I am in no fit way ready to write out questions or lengthy blog posts about it. The personal study I have been working on is… understanding paganism and witchcraft. Don’t panic. I’m still a Christian, but I can see how people can lose their faith when they begin looking into such things if they are weak on their understanding of Christianity. Why did I begin to study these other spiritual paths? Not to give up my Christianity but to understand first hand what these paths are about. I wanted to know for myself what they were about and not rely on second hand knowledge. I’m glad I did. I’m all about ‘Get your oats fresh’… you know that saying right? ‘Get it straight from the horses mouth!’. Why? Because I had actually been told one time by someone in leadership at a house of prayer I attended that daydreaming was a form of witchcraft! With that sort of nonsense being tossed about as wisdom, I had to do my own research.

Paganism and witchcraft are on the rise. This increase has partly come about, I believe, because of the circus Protestantism has become and because of our exposure to paganism through entertainment.

There are certain factors that have increased our exposure to paganism; The Marvel movie franchise that wrapped up not too long ago, The Game of Thrones books, and mini-series (or not so mini of a series), the focus of late that all-white-people-are-colonizing-devils-and-only-giving-up-Christianity-and-embracing-our-roots-in-our-pagan-ancestory-can-save-us-because-Christianity-is-a-religion-for-old-white-supremacist-men. There is a belief trending that the only truth is what our ancestors believed before white people brought in Christianity to colonize the natives.

In reality, you can have your culture and still be a Christian. You can still follow the season and read the signs of nature, go on hunts and honor your ancestors. Christianity is not a religion just for white people however, white people also went through some devastating things in history because of religion and religious hate- both white Christians and non-white Christians. okay, okay-everybody preyed upon everyone. Can we ‘hug it out’ and forgive each other? See life is just one giant Thanksgiving dinner lived over and over, and over. If we do not learn how to get along, or at least forgive each other and let go… we’re doomed.

St. Moses the Black | Charlotte Riggle
St. Moses The Black (the word ‘Ethiopian literally means black) didn’t receive the memo that Christianity is only for white people. Read about him HERE. He is not the only dark skinned Christian, nor is he the only dark skinned saint. Don’t let the lies of the liberal left steal away your faith!

Some additional information about Orthodox Christianity demographic statistics can be found on Pewforum.

In my Internet travels, I have encountered many challenges to Christianity. It seems Christians are not alone in their fervor for their religion and for some, in their intense dislike for those not of their religion (dear Christian brothers and sisters, God COMMANDED us to love one another, not beat people over the head with our bibles). We Christians have hurt people of other faiths in our over zealousness and insensitivity. Who ever became a Christian by being hammered on constantly, or told they were going to hell (pagans and witches do not believe in hell), or told their gods are demons?

One of the vlogs I came across in my study ‘travels’ belongs to a Norse pagan. One of his video titles declared; ‘How to destroy Christianity with this one argument’. One of the commentators wrote that they were going to use his argument at Thanksgiving dinner, hence the title for today’s post.

First I apologize to all the pagans and witches I have offended over the years. Please forgive me. Second, I point out that if you are a pagan gleefully constructing what you think are destructive arguments against Christianity to destroy your family’s faith in God, you are no better than the Christians who attack you. We are all not in a contest to see who can crush the other person the best, or worst depending on how well you are doing in your compassion for your own friends and family. Ahem…

ah, stunned silence i see

This is the expected reaction this particular pagan expects to see when he asks what he thinks are very tough, and soul crushing questions. His question to end Christianity once and for all (all of that should have been said in your head (or out loud) with a loud authoritative and echoing voice followed by maniacal laughter). Are you ready for his profound, faith crushing question? Here it comes:

If God is omniscient, and omnipotent, how is it possible that His word (scripture) is so misinterpreted by His people? You would think something written by God (scripture) would be easy to understand by all and no one would ever misinterpret the Word of God. Can the Christian God not convey Himself in a way that is understandable? Wouldn’t He infuse His word with understanding so His message would be clear?

That’s a good question. I have asked myself something similar on many occasions. My version is; “If we all have the same bible, and we have all read the scripture that tells us to be unified and there are hundreds of thousands of denominations, Christian don’t get along, and can’t even agree on sprinkling or dunking for baptism, what is going on?!”. My question was asked in a moment of frustration. I know what is going on, I just don’t like it.

What this pagan vlogger is saying comes from a place of confusion and a lack of understanding about who God is and how Christianity really works, i.e. he didn’t read his bible when he was a Christian. Plus, he chose one of the most ridiculous persons on the web to use as an example (a video of a baptist minister ‘loosing it’ over the word, ‘is’). That’s what people like him who wish to refute the bible and God do, they use the least qualified person as the fall guy in the scenario and build their argument on that one person. The person he chose to use is someone I have seen before mocking every other Christian who is not a baptist and mocking how Jews pray. Not the best person to hold up to scrutiny but that’s how such persons argue. They argue weakly. They rarely, if ever use someone in authority who knows their stuff.

Oh how I wish they would pull that kind of argument out at a dinner table where one of the guests is a true Orthodox priest.

IT'S CHRISTMAS DAY!!! 🎄 | Saiko+ Amino
Christmas has come early, y’all!

If you find yourself in a situation where your pagan or witch sibling, cousin, aunt, uncle etc. has asked this very profound (but really not at all profound) question here is your response.

The Word of God is in fallible. It is perfect… uncorrupted and incorruptible. However, people are fallen and corrupted by their sin, and the sin of the world. God has given us free will which extends to the reading of His word. Without the Holy Tradition of the Orthodox Church, it is quite easy to misinterpret scripture.

If you buy a new car and wreck it, it is not the fault of the manufacturer. You wrecked it. The same principle applies to scripture. If you buy and read a bible and get it wrong, it is not because God did something wrong and you couldn’t understand His word. God gives us free will which extends to reading His word. Most misinterpretation of scripture comes from rebellion and pride; the rest comes from not having Holy Tradition to sort it out. Humble people understand and obey God’s word.

That last part about humility could cause you to end up with a drumstick in your ear, tread lightly.

People who attend a church where the liturgy is performed (Orthodoxy) get an enormous amount of scripture read to them during the service.

The Orthodox Faith - Volume II - Worship - The Divine Liturgy - Epistle - Orthodox Church in America

Scripture is not meant to only be read alone at home with no tradition to back up, or refute, your personal interpretation. This is a very damaging residue from the reformation which has lead to hundreds of thousands of denominations within ‘Christianity’. Denominations are started because someone got a butt hurt over something and instead of submitting to their leadership, they went and started a new church (cult) in their basement and it grew until it became a whole new denomination.

Every denomination that came after the reformation is heretical.

Scripture is meant to be read out loud. As an Orthodox Christian, you go to the Liturgy and hear the scripture read, you study your bible at home, you read the Holy and ancient fathers, you pester your priest endlessly with questions.

I Have Several Questions GIFs - Get the best GIF on GIPHY

Look, the people who are questioning their faith without Holy tradition to guide them are the ones falling away. they become Muslim, pagan, atheist, etc. There is so much confusion, misdirection and misinterpretation within Protestantism its a wonder anyone is left. Even the pious Amish got it wrong. This is the path where personal interpretation of the bible without Holy Tradition leads.

If, at some future Thanksgiving dinner, some pagan who thinks he is clever asks you how scripture can be misinterpreted, as if he’s just cracked the pagan version of the Davinci code, you now have an answer, I hope, to that ridiculous question.

Income Abundance, Rabbi Lapin

I am beginning day 3 of no t.v. or movies unless it’s educational information such as the set of information I am writing about today, or herbs, or scripture. You get the idea. It is also day 3 of writing the five things for which I am grateful which has also been difficult.

There is an issue we introverts have. We sometimes forget about what we like or need. When I was single and would go on a date, I dreaded being asked, ‘what do you like to do?’. It is a fairly innocent and common question. For an introvert it is a horrible question to ask. We have things we enjoy doing, we just have a hard time remembering what they are, or even owning up to them in our; go, go, go society. One of the things I love to do IS watching t.v. and movies, along with reading. There is, however, only so much reading I can do before I fall asleep. There’s only so much housework I can do before I wear myself out. Watching t.v. or movies is a great way to fill in gaps of time. I don’t think I will continue to ‘fast from t.v.’ once my experiment is over. Perhaps I will. It is early days yet… we will see what happens on day 7.

On to the rest of the post…

I purchased this set from, Rabbi Daniel Lapin’s website:

I am ready to focus on abundance again. I say ‘again’ because when I left the Protestant church and became Orthodox, abundance, or prosperity, were the last things I was thinking about even though we had just gone through a ‘Job season’. It seemed as if all we ever heard was sermons on prosperity. I needed assurance. Assurance God still loved us, thought of us, cared about us, etc. I needed to work on myself. We needed help from other Christians and there was no help. There was no community. The teachings I had heard made it clear that those who were going through tough times were afflicted, sinful, being ‘course corrected’ by God. This is of course a gross misinterpretation of Scripture. Job was a righteous man and went through it all. People try to justify their misinterpretation of scripture by declaring Job’s story to be OT (Old Testament) and therefore irrelevant after The Cross. That’s not how Christianity works, kids. Suffering still happens to Christians and guess what, they don’t even have to have ‘done something’ to ‘deserve it’. We live in a fallen world and things happen to everyone.

Matt 5:45

KJ21that ye may be the children of your Father who is in Heaven. For He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

When a preacher teaches the incorrect version of scripture that bad things only happen to sinners, it does a couple of things; 1. It gives a false sense of security and righteousness to people. This does not prepare them for the bad times to come… and they ARE coming. tough times help us grow as Christians. God sends trials to us to grow us. 2. It turns people who need help, who need their church community, into pariah. No one wants anything to do with you because they think hard times are contagious like a virus. Money is sent to faceless organizations before it goes to church members in need. That is messed up.

Perhaps you can understand now how I just couldn’t hear one more ‘Prosperity sermon’? I wanted to know more about Christian heritage, the saints, the apostles, Christ (of course) bu also about His earthly family and the early Christian church. If you do not know where you come from, you cannot plan for your future. Most Christian pastors, I have seen on t.v. or i n the churches I attended act like orphans. I did too and I brought that mentality with me when I first entered the Orthodox church. It is a difficult mentality (spirit) to shake off. I do believe that the reason for this way of thinking is due to a lack of knowledge about who we truly are in Christ. Money is focused on instead of sanctification. We were adopted into Christianity.

Romans 11:17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree,

Romans 11:19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.

Romans 11:23 And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.

Romans 11:24 For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

While being adopted can be a wonderful thing and it often is, it can also be a source of confusion. Why am I Christian? What does that really mean? Is there more to being a Christian than just making money? Turns out there is… but what is it? Well, my siblings in Christ, that is a topic for another blog post, or rather many blog posts. Today I am writing about being ready to hear again about abundance. It’s not that we are again going through financial difficulties. by God’s grace we are ok in that respect. Not perfect… just employed and not on food stamps.

My desire with this Income Abundance course is to plan for the future. Husband has dreams, I have dreams, dreams cost money and they rarely come to fruition working for other people. We are grateful for his job but we do not wish it to become an anchor preventing our dreams from becoming reality.

I also had a criteria for the course material that it not be part of the Protestant take on prosperity but I still wanted a biblical point of view.

A couple of years ago I had watched some of, Rabbi Lapin’s videos on Youtube and even ordered his book:

CHART YOUR COURSE: 52 Weekly Journaling Challenges with Rabbi Daniel & Susan Lapin: Lapin, Rabbi Daniel & Susan: 9780982201879: Books

and while he does work with many Christian churches, I think his understanding of scripture is closer to the Orthodox understanding of scripture than is the Protestant understanding of scripture. I apologize if it sounds as if I am picking on Protestants but there really is so much misunderstanding and misinterpretation of scripture that happens in Protestantism. Without Holy Tradition (something lacking in Protestant churches), things tend to go off track. Plus, I appreciate Rabbi Lapin’s insights into what is going on in our culture.

I was not ready to listen to his teachings on abundance at that time, but I am now…

My packet of Income Abundance material arrived Saturday (see photo at beginning of this post), which consisted of; two books and several cd’s. I also ordered:

Perils of Profanity - Rabbi Daniel Lapin (CD)

Time to dig out my cd player.

I wish to do more with my life, with my faith, with the knowledge I have acquired over my 53 years on this planet. I also desire to turn it all into a profitable business. There are people who have blogged and vlogged their way into a career. Lord, may it also be so with me.

The gift of prophecy?

The 4 Clairs Of Intuition & How To Tap Into Each

One of the things I struggled with when I was a member of a certain house of prayer was the tendency for people to misunderstand the difference between clairvoyance, prophecy from God, and observational information, and other ways of what I now call, ‘organic knowing’.

The prophets of the bible would not recognize much of what goes on in a, ‘spirit filled service’ as being from God.

The ladies’ group at church is reading from the book, Fr. Arseny. Here is what he said about the topic.

Another time I asked him, “Fr. Arseny! We, your spiritual children, often talk
about the fact that spiritual fathers frequently have the gift of
prophecy or clairvoyance…”. Fr. Arseny interrupted me sharply
saying, “Don’t continue! You don’t know what real prophecy or
clairvoyance is.
Take the mother of a small child. She sees and
notices all his actions, and she can foresee what he is going to
think or do because he is her child and she loves him. All this
isn’t prophecy or mind reading; it is a kind of spiritual
observation, which is common to many. True prophecy and
mind reading is given by God to a few chosen people, people
like Fr. John of Kronstadt, but certainly not to us sinful people.
Let us stop this conversation, it is useless,” said Fr. Arseny

Bolded text is mine.

We need to take a step back and consider everything we do, making certain we have dedicated it to the glory of God.
