How eating meat healed my neck pain
When I was younger, and single, I lived in a big city. Big city rush hour, big city mentalities. I hated it. I had two serious car accidents while living in this city. My neck no longer curved gently the way necks are supposed to curve. It ended more straight and bent forward slightly .
Pain and numbness in my neck and extremities became something I just, ‘lived with’. I eventually moved back to the town where I grew up (where I still live now), met and married my husband. He had an old 1990 Jeep Wrangler (it’s for sale if anyone is interested). If you know Jeeps, you know about their suspension. I thought my head was going to fall off of my neck at any moment. I grew to resent that Jeep.
When I began my journey of healing through nutrition and eventually got to the point where I eliminated nightshades from my then, Paleo diet my neck pain went away. My inflammation everywhere went away. The inflammation in my feet went down so much I had to buy new shoes in a smaller size. The numbness in my hands and feet went away. It was amazing. I then switched things up more by only eating meat, and drinking collagen peptides in my coffee. Occasionally I eat cheese and whole milk (well, heavy whipping cream and whole milk) and I continue to heal and feel amazing.
It boggles my mind how anyone who calls themselves a proper nutritionist can sit with a straight face and tell their clients suffering from; joint pain, inflammation, chronic illness, allergies, etc. to eat grains, beans, legumes, sugar, white potatoes… basically to eat anything plant based. Then they tell their clients not to eat the truly nutritious foods; meat, eggs, dairy.
These people are part of the machine that grinds up patients as fodder for stuffing bank accounts full of money. Shame on you all.
