How eating meat healed my neck pain

When I was younger, and single, I lived in a big city. Big city rush hour, big city mentalities. I hated it. I had two serious car accidents while living in this city. My neck no longer curved gently the way necks are supposed to curve. It ended more straight and  bent forward  slightly .

Pain and numbness in my neck and extremities became something I just, ‘lived with’. I eventually moved back to the town where I grew up (where I still live now), met and married my husband. He had an old 1990 Jeep Wrangler (it’s for sale if anyone is interested). If you know Jeeps, you know about their suspension. I thought my head was going to fall off of my neck at any moment. I grew to resent that Jeep.

When I began my journey of healing through nutrition and eventually got to the point where I eliminated nightshades from my then, Paleo diet my neck pain went away. My inflammation everywhere went away. The inflammation in my feet went down so much I had to buy new shoes in a smaller size. The numbness in my hands and feet went away. It was amazing. I then switched things up more by only eating meat, and drinking collagen peptides in my coffee. Occasionally I eat cheese and whole milk (well, heavy whipping cream and whole milk) and I continue to heal and feel amazing.

If you are suffering continued illness and cannot seem to find the source, perhaps some time spent reading about meat based diets might help you figure things out? I don’t know but what have you got to lose?

  1. Living with inflammation and joint pain is just widely accepted as a normal part of ageing these days.

Golfing with my friends, (mid 30s) they all complain of this or that… I used to as well. Ever since going low carb / Keto I tell them straight up how I don’t have pain any more.

They actually don’t register their diet is causing them physical pain.

Thanks for sharing your anecdote! More of these stories every day will slowly heal the world! Cheets

    • Funny how people just don’t want to make the connection between what they eat and how they feel yet how many of us have used the phrase, ‘comfort food’? Thanks for stopping by. Great transformation you have gone through.
