There are so many lies surrounding veganism. The important thing to keep in mind when you are shopping for a diet is to eat the way that works for you. But does eating vegan REALLY make you feel better? How are your joints feeling? Do they burn, tingle, itch? Do they feel loose? Is your skin dry? Do you have brain fog? Are constipated? Do you have heart burn? These could all be signs that you’re not doing so well eating only vegetables. Fat is good, and it’s good for you.
For Christians who insist that eating vegan brings you closer to God remember; when animal sacrifices were made in the temple, it was the fattiest parts that were considered the best, and the most prized. We also see that it was animals that were sacrificed the most when special favor from God was needed.
Leviticus 3:16 ESV
And the priest shall burn them on the altar as a food offering with a pleasing aroma. All fat is the Lord‘s.
We see in Daniel that the young men were tested with veganism.
“Test your servants for ten days; let us be given vegetables to eat and water to drink.”
This ‘test’ only lasted for a few days yet many who push the vegan diet use it as a reason
eat in this unhealthy manner permanently. They site the young men in the palace who ate
the meat and were ill as proof that eating meat is bad for you. What they conveniently
leave out is that these men were eating rich sauces, breads, fruit and vegetables with
their meat and that everything was prepared by the finest palace chefs (It was cooked.
Most likely it was over cooked.).
